With the number of dental schools crossing a figure of 280 and number of
dentists estimated to be over 100,000, and
each year over 23000 dentists are being added. There are many players who
claim to conduct CDE courses. Here is the list.
BE CAREFUL: Many of them promise you sky, go only for those courses
which will enable you to actually learn on patients so that you can go back and
start doing the learned technique in your clinic.
Best place for such training
is ICDR, BUT we mainly focus on helping and improving skills of clinicians
who are already in practice
State Dental Association branches conduct CDE programs, but almost all the time branches focus primarily on making revenue rather than quality of training.
Thus most of these courses are largely marketing products with little enhancement in learning, Think about it...
